The point of the demo is to highlight each of the different systems and their interactions.
Demo Input actions
Movement is W,A,S,D.
Look is Mouse
Attack is Left Click Mouse, heavy attack is Left Click Mouse + Alt Key
Block is Right Click Mouse, timed block will parry
Right Click Mouse + Left Click Mouse will shoot aimed projectile
Middle Mouse will lock on to a target (if available)
Tab opens the skills system
Space is Jump
Z will zoom in (for reading the in game documentation.)
1 will add skill points
2 will add experience points
3 will change to “Free Pitch Only” camera type when locked on to a target
4 will change to “Lock Control Rotation” camera type when locked on to a target
5 will change to “Free Look” camera type when locked on to a target
E will change weapons
C will shoot unaimed projectile
X will cast spell attack
The first room goes over equipping a weapon and basic movements.
The second room goes over combos
Inputting Left Mouse Click, Left Mouse Click, Left Shift and Left Mouse Click will complete the available combo for the fists.
The third room goes over the hitboxes.
Attacking with any weapon will show the different types of hit boxes
The fourth room goes over the skill component.
Tab will open the skill tree and you can purchase skills by adding skill points and experience through the inputs 1 and 2.
The fifth room goes over the dodge.
The dodge will only be available if you purchase it in the skill system
F will cause your character to use the dodge skill
The sixth room goes over lock on.
Middle Mouse Button will lock on the target
“Free Pitch Only” means your camera will lock the X Axis to remain locked to the target and grants free access to the Y Axis.
“Lock Control Rotation” means your X and Y Axis will remain locked to the target
“Free Look” means neither X or Y Axis will be locked
The seventh room goes over hit reaction.
The eighth room goes over parry.
The ninth room goes over the finisher system.
The tenth room goes over enemy AI.
The eleventh room goes over a boss fight.
