Pee-wee Herman is a character created by comedian Paul Reubens. Pee-wee was a stage character before making appearances in Cheech and Chong's Next Movie and an HBO broadcast of one of his live stage performances of The Pee-wee Herman Show. Pee-wee starred in his own TV series Pee-wee’s Playhouse and a series of films in addition to being a guest on dozens of variety and talk shows.
