(Note: Based on the description of his background and skills, the character Greg Morris plays in the “Mission Incredible” episodes of The Jeffersons is heavily implied to be a now retired Barney Collier, but his name is never actually spoken out loud. He is simply known as “Jimmy’s Cousin”. The Mission Impossible theme plays upon his appearance.
Greg Morris also appears on Sanford and Son as a criminal named Willis who is backed by the Mission: Impossible theme which could be interpreted as Barney undercover, but with no other evidence I will assume that he is the character “Willis”.)
Feature Film Crossovers:
The Mission: Impossible movies exist in the same continuity as the TV series. Peter Graves was even going to reprise the role of Jim Phelps until he was informed that he was going to be the villain. Jon Voight took over the role.
