Cartoon Crossovers & Follow Ups
Happy Days spun off into a cartoon called The Fonz and the Happy Days Gang which featured The Fonz, Ralph Malph, Richie Cunningham, The Fonz’ dog Mr. Cool and a girl from the future named Cupcake travelling through time.
Laverne & Shirley spun off into a cartoon alternately known as Laverne & Shirley or Laverne & Shirley in the Army. Loosely based on the two-part episode of the live action Laverne & Shirley called "We're in the Army, Now", the cartoon featured Laverne Defazio and Shirley Feeney enlisting in the army under the command of a talking pig called Sgt. Squealy and his superior Sgt. Turnbuckle.
Mork & Mindy/Laverne & Shirley/Fonz Hour featured segments from the previously two mentioned cartoons, in addition to a new Mork & Mindy segment. The cartoon version of Mork & Mindy featured the two as teenagers going to high school. Additionally, new episodes of Laverne & Shirley in the Army called Laverne & Shirley with The Fonz were produced. These added the Fonz as an army motor pool mechanic.
