(Note: The Hogan’s Heroes crossover may be the first crossover between two different television networks. Batman and Robin recognizing WWII war criminal Colonel Klink during the 1960s and telling him to “say hi” to (active?) prisoner of war Hogan for them and then simply moving on does not seem to fit the logic of either universe, but it happened.)

Cartoon Crossovers & Follow Ups

Many Batman cartoons have used characters, visual designs, story elements, and actors from the 1966 series. There were two straight to video animated films that served as direct follow ups to the show: Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders in 2016 and Batman vs. Two-Face in 2017.

Feature Film Crossovers:

The feature film also titled Batman and based on the TV series, aired shortly after season one on July 30, 1966
