(Note: The Knight Rider episode “Mouth of the Snake” was the backdoor pilot to a TV series that was to be called All That Glitters. This led to a second pilot which was aired as a TV movie called Code of Vengeance. The ratings success of the TV movie led to an order for a TV series called Dalton. Production troubles on Dalton led to the series being cancelled after four episodes were produced. Two of the produced Dalton episodes were combined and aired as a TV movie called Dalton: Code of Vengeance II. Later, needing a summer fill-in series, NBC aired all four produced Dalton episodes (including the ones previously aired as Dalton: Code of Vengeance II) as a TV series called Dalton’s Code of Vengeance.)
