Love, American Style is a TV anthology series that aired on ABC from September 29, 1969 to January 11, 1974 for five seasons. A revival series called New Love, American Style aired on ABC’s daytime block for two seasons in 1985 and 1986. A failed pilot for a revival was aired as a TV movie on February 20, 1999.

The segment “Love and the Old-Fashioned Father” spun off the primetime cartoon Wait Till Your Father Gets Home. Happy Days actor Tom Bosley played the father in this series as well.
