(Note: Elvira appears (in what may be original footage) in an Elvira’s Movie Macabre style TV show in the Thirtysomething episode “Fathers and Lovers”. This really is a borderline type B or C appearance but I didn’t feel it quite rose to the level of “metafiction” or “blurred reality”.

Cassandra Peterson is in the Nash Bridges episode “Sniper” as a character who looks and acts like Elvira called “Frankie” and the acting credit even goes to Elvira rather than Peterson. It is however technically not an in-universe appearance of the Elvira character.

Elvira’s appearance in The Goldbergs is honestly probably the closest to being described as a “celebrity” appearance of Cassandra Peterson as Elvira rather than some form of the character Elvira existing in the show’s reality. A borderline case.)
