(Note: Both The Andy Griffith Show and The Joey Bishop Show were spinoffs of The Danny Thomas Show. Interestingly, in season two, The Joey Bishop Show semi-reboots from it’s initial premise. In this new version of the show, Danny Thomas sometimes guest stars as a version of “himself” as opposed to “Danny Williams”. However, “Rusty Williams” from The Danny Thomas Show also appears in this rebooted version indicating that Danny Thomas and “Danny Williams” both exist in the same world. Also of interest is that the Barney Fife character is technically credited on the show as "Deputy Sheriff Don Knotts played by Barney Fife.")
