The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! is a TV series that aired on in syndication from September 4 to December 1, 1989 one season. It is based on the Super Mario Bros. series of video games. The show has both live action and animated segments. The cartoon segments were later reused in the shows Club Mario and Mario All-Stars.

Cartoon Crossovers & Follow Ups
The character “Inspector Gadget” from the cartoon of the same name appears in live action in the segment “Defective Gadgetry”.
The 2023 film The Super Mario Bros. Movie is not so much an adaptation of this show as the whole Mario franchise, however, it does have Mario and Luigi live in Brooklyn as first established in this series and uses the theme song.
