This evening, I went to an advanced showing of Joker Folie à Deux Flixtor. The plot, which is presented as a kind of jail drama, follows Arthur Fleck following the events of the previous movie. He is set to be reevaluated for his crimes and must return to court. He needs to persuade everyone that there are two distinct versions of him—Arthur Fleck and The Joker—in order to protect himself. He meets a woman who alters his life irrevocably as he gets ready for his trial; but will she support his case? It's a beautiful material, enhanced by some amazing visuals, such as an animated prologue directed by Belleville filmmaker Sylvain Chomet's Triplets.
