Set in a post-apocalyptic future where the planet has been contaminated, the story follows O’Dessa, flixtor hq, and her mother, who are farmers living in isolation. O’Dessa cherishes a guitar that belonged to her late father. After her mother dies, she chooses to become a "rambler," traveling and sharing her music. When her guitar is stolen, she heads to Satylite City, where she meets and falls in love with Euri Dervish (Kelvin Harrison, Jr.), a singer and dancer. Euri is trapped in a life of performance due to the cruel Neon Dion (Regina Hall), who works for the tyrant Plutonovich (Murray Bartlett), the city's despotic leader. As the young lovers clash with Plutonovich, O’Dessa must retrieve her guitar and navigate a dangerous game show called “The One” to escape their predicament.
