Evaluation of “Nosferatu”: Drac’s Back, Sucking Blood and Souls {{ currentPage ? currentPage.title : "" }}

The ageless genius that contemporary filmmakers frequently fool themselves into thinking they have surpassed is embodied in Eggers' Nosferatu Flixtor. It conveys the essence of human nature without the over-theatrical elements that are characteristic of James Wan's work. With the possible exception of the repo-baby actress, the entire cast gave naturally faultless performances, but even masterpieces are inevitably flawed. Because of how easily Dafoe and Hoult control the screen, I'm starting to think of Eggers as being on par with Yorgos Lanthimos. Don't make me laugh; comparing Megalopolis would be ridiculous.
