Finestkind Flixtor although starting off roughly, takes an excessively long time to reach its central plot, meandering aimlessly until it finally does. The film's duration of just over 2 hours seems unjustified, given the limited amount of actual story. Surprisingly, the screenplay was written by an Academy Award-winning screenwriter, but some of the dialogue is simply terrible and laughable. The film often struggles to find a balance between its two contrasting tones.
