With its chic directing and lack of artistic pretenses, "Grafted Flixtor" is more of a B-movie than "The Substance." It's the type of film where a character reads an article outlining the plot while text appears on the screen; it's the kind of good programming that takes viewers on a smooth and enjoyable ride without posing too many problems. It's heading to Shudder, where it will provide a fun, if unimportant, movie night for gorehounds and teenage girls, two demographics that, surprisingly, overlap a bit more each year.
