Salem's Lot Flixtor is beautifully eerie and features an excellent cast. With an hour of footage left on the cutting room floor, it's impressive how well they managed to condense the story for a film format instead of a mini-series. I would have enjoyed watching this on the big screen. I plan to purchase the DVD if it becomes available! Lewis Pullman shines as Ben Mears, and the chemistry between him and Susan is delightful. I found the children in this version more appealing than in previous adaptations. My only criticism is that I wished it had been longer; I would have liked to spend more time with these characters and the talented actors portraying them.
