The outstanding performances of Saoirse Ronan and Elliot Hefferman. Their casting was spot on, creating two characters that are not only endearing but also deeply relatable on an emotional level. This connection kept me invested in the story, particularly in my desire to see George reunite with his mother in a joyful conclusion. As indicated in the title of this review, the film excels technically. McQueen demonstrates impressive skill in his direction, utilizing long, uninterrupted takes and dynamic camera movements. Additionally, elements such as production design, costume design, and sound design all contribute to the film's high-quality presentation.
