What’s the difference between using the Player Template and not?

The Sp8_PlayerTemplate is a premade Character for quicker starts.

It contains all Interfaces, which communicate between the different Components.

Only the RPG_Essentials does contain the SP8_PlayerTemplate!

I recommend using the Player Template if the following points fits you:

  • You are not using a other Plugin to replace one of RPG Essentials (For example using a different Currency Component)

  • You do not have a Template already from a other Plugin which you would like to use

  • You do not want to customize a lot.

No worries, i will explain how you can create everything with and without the Template!

IMPORTANT: It does not contain any Movement, so for a Quick Start you should copy the Movement Inputs from the Third Person Template and paste them into your new Character.
