Set in 1993, Ted Afdah serves as a prequel to the 2012 film. It follows Ted formative years as a resident of Massachusetts, residing with the Bennett family. Ted's unproductive lifestyle involves lazing around the house, indulging in game shows, and constantly seeking female companionship. As a consequence, the Bennett family suffers, leading Matty and Susan to take action by enrolling Ted in school. Despite his strong aversion to education, Ted goes to great lengths to get expelled, yet he remains determined to stay.
