Tarot is based on the novel Horrorscope by Nicholas Adams, but the underdeveloped screenplay by co-writers/directors Spenser Cohen and Anna Halberg may make it hard to believe. The movie wastes no time in introducing a group of friends who gather in the basement for a tarot card reading. Each friend's fate is tied to their card reading, resulting in a lackluster supernatural horror thriller that lacks scares and suspense.
