In the film Players Afdah movie Gina Rodriguez takes on the role of Mack, a struggling journalist and sportswriter from New York City. Mack's true passion lies in baseball, and she dedicates her time to it. Alongside her loyal friends Adam, Brannagan, and Little, whom she has known since college, Mack devises intricate and effective plans to expand her social circle when she's not busy covering local sports.
