DJ Spoony

DJ Spoony (born Johnathan Joseph; 25 June 1970) is a British DJ. He began his career in the 1990s on pirate radio station London Underground, and from there joined Kiss FM, bringing garage music to the UK mainstream, and winning a Sony award.
He subsequently moved to the BBC, where he hosted the Radio 1 weekend breakfast show, later moving to Radio 5 Live. On the latter, he ran a series of interviews with personalities from the British football world.
Spoony is a keen golf player, and a supporter of Liverpool Football Club. He has two daughters.
Quiz Show Appearances
The Weakest Link (01/05/2002) Spoony appeared on a music industry special alongside, among others, Carol Decker, Billy Bragg, and Suzi Quatro. Spoony was eliminated in the second round.
