The 1st September 2018 episode of Celebrity Catchphrase featured comedian Rob Beckett, writer and actress Ruth Jones, and dancer Jordan Banjo (whose brother, it was noted, had featured previously on the show and reached the final). 

The celebrities were playing for the Matt Palmer Trust (Beckett); Ty Hapus (Jones); and Well Child (Banjo). 

Beckett won the main game convincingly, with a prize pot of £5,500 against sums of £900 and £3,900 for Jones and Banjo accordingly.

Advancing to the final catchphrase, Beckett managed to net the grand prize of £50,000 (a first for the celebrity iteration of the show) without passing a single question. As he correctly answered question 11, the winnings of his fellow contestants were also doubled.
