In the movie, McShane plays the mysterious character of Wilson, although there isn't much of a puzzle surrounding him. He works as a hired killer based in London, employed by a secretive "security" organization. His mission leads him to the island of Fuerteventura, which is part of Spain and situated off the coast of Africa. His objective is to eliminate a prominent drug dealer. Wilson's journey unfolds smoothly as he arrives on the island, rents a car, explores the desert, gathers vital information, and arms himself with a pistol for the task. He then proceeds towards the dealer's estate. However, instead of finding the intended target after patiently waiting, Wilson observes a woman arriving at the house. She engages in a phone conversation and later changes into a swimsuit to take a swim in the pool. With no opportunity to carry out the assassination, Wilson discreetly leaves, taking note of the woman's motorcycle, and decides to make a call of his own. Upon learning that the target is currently occupied with a business deal, Wilson seizes the opportunity to relax and bide his time until the arrival of the "package."
