As a group we decided that our WebQuest was going to focus on a kindergarten classroom and patterns they may see. Whether it be a pattern of color, size, shapes, letters, or numbers there is almost always a pattern. It it very important that students be able to identify what patterns are and how they can be seen and used in the real world.

• All patterns can be labeled as:

  • AB patterns

  • AAB patterns

  • ABB patterns

  • ABC patterns

As we can see in the pictures below, there are patterns in many places. In buildings, board games, clothing, and many more things.
